Reloop Buddy Poti Hack
The Reloop Buddy has 3 potentiometers for dialing in the levels for master volume, cue volume and cue mix. While playing the first set with the controller I realized that the position of those potis is far from perfect and needed some tweaking.
OSC to MIDI | Midi to OSC | Midi over Network
This tool acts as a helper between Midi and OSC. It allows you to receive OSC data and forward them to a Midi-device and/or (yes, simultaneously) vice versa. I somewhat accidentally discovered that you can use this tool to also transmit Midi data over network (over OSC). It’s based on openFrameworks. It works on Mac, Windows and probably on a Raspberry Pi. Source code and binaries for Mac and Windows are available on Github .
Using Reloop Buddy with Native Instruments Traktor
tl;dr: Reloop’s new low-range controller ‘Buddy’ does not completely work with Native Instruments Traktor out of the box. This post provides a solution in form of a Python script.

Raspberry Pi Spotify Player
I built a Spotify-Player based on a Raspberry Pi 3 and Tizonia. It has 5 buttons to switch between different playlists and another button to skip to the next song in a playlist.
Kneipenampel mit Fernsteuerung
Für meine Lieblingskneipe in der alten Heimat habe ich eine Ampel gebaut. Die hängt da jetzt und sobald es wieder losgeht, kann man den potenziellen Gästen von weitem schon signalisieren, ob noch Platz im Laden ist (der Post hier entstand Ende November 2020 … Mitten in “The great Shitshow” (Celeste Barber)).
